Portrait of Ruby RoseThere was this one time when Ruby Rose was being interviewed in Adelaide in 2010 and I got asked the day before to photograph her. I knew nothing about her other than that she was a nice person who was doing something with music at Myer that day, and she had cool tatts. We had exactly 2 minutes to get this picture. Luckily there was a huge window letting in some nice diffused light from the left.⠀Find her on Instagram

Photography Adelaide commercial photographer Ben LiewThe Cure Brain Cancer Foundation is the leading organisation for brain cancer research, advocacy and awareness in Australia, forging alliances globally to achieve our mission to increase five-year survival to 50% by 2023. Charlie has since left the Cure Brain Cancer foundation to start the Charlie Teo Foundation with the vision of a world free from brain cancer. Today in Australia, brain cancer kills more children than any other disease. It kills more young people under the age of 40 than any other cancer, and it has a 5-year survival rate of just 22%.We believe a better future is possible, and with your help we fight for this hope. https://www.charlieteofoundation.org.au/

Portrait of Michelle LeeMichelle Lee is one of my favourite artists and best friends. I took this portrait of her as her artist profile shot. Her art practice is derived from passionate debate about what constitutes a life well lived. From the simple joy of intertwining feet with a lover, to smelling the scent of scorched Australian earth after summer rain, Michelle explores the world around her through abstract yet deeply personal art.Originally a graphic designer by trade, her journey towards becoming a recognised artist has involved discarding neat lines, growing strength through intuition, and focussing on the sensual wonders of her world.Michelle uses a layering technique to express her fascination with human emotion, nature, food and culture. Acrylic paint provides the foundation of her iconic style, with abstract illustrations and line-work applied to create a dynamic canvas. This process is repeated over and over again, creating multiple layers and more complex meanings, until she arrives at a piece of art that exposes her soul. Her work can be seen at http://www.michelleleeart.com/
Nicolas MouatNicolas is the best massage therapist I've ever been to. He's magic with his hands and can always apply the right pressure to the right spot. Based in Adelaide, I try to get a massage from him at least once a month. His website is http://zephyrlife.com.au/
